: Today’s tech tips are all about your personal protective equipment—your helmet and neck restraint—and how to ensure they’re certified to keep you safe.

Helmets need to be a minimum of SA2020 rated, which means the helmet holds its safety rating for 10 years. Your SA2020 certification can be found on the inside back of your helmet, behind the inner liner and under the fit pad.

Neck restraints have a born-on date and are only SFI 38.1 certified for five years. However, they can be recertified for continued use in five-year intervals. HANS Devices can be returned by mail to Simpson Performance Products for recertification, or recertified in person at select dealers across America.

🔥 TREY GIBBS IS ALL IN FOR CORR! 🔥

We caught up with Trey Gibbs at Glen Helen Raceway, and he made it official, Trey will be racing the entire Championship Off-Road Racing season in PRO 2! 🏁

Behind the wheel of his OPTIMA Batteries backed Pro 2, Trey brings a championship pedigree and plenty of experience to what is shaping up to be an absolutely STACKED Pro 2 field.

Trey is a six-time off-road champion with multiple short course championships on his résumé, and he continues to take on new challenges in both short course and desert racing.

And his road to our season opener is going to be WILD. 🤘

Trey will be taking on the legendary SCORE International Baja 1000 the weekend before CORR, then turning around and heading straight to Firebird Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona for our November 20–22 season-opening weekend.

🏁CORR NEXT DAY ONE IS IN THE BOOKS! 🏁

The very first CORR NEXT race day Firebird Motorsports Park is officially complete and this is exactly what this series was created for.

New racers. New faces. First time competitors. First podiums. And a place for the next generation of short-course racers to learn, grow, and get comfortable behind the wheel.

A huge shoutout to our new CORR NEXT Series Director Dan Hurn Dan Hurn for leading the charge and helping bring this program to life. There has been a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes to create an environment focused on amateur racers, beginners, families, and driver development and today we got to see it in action.

We also want to thank Connor Maxwell Conner Maxwell | off-road racer and 2X MOTORSPORTS for working with our beginner racers through the driver development program, including getting out on the track for a walk through and helping these drivers understand the course before going racing.

And one of our favorite moments of the day our announcer Mark Wright Mark Wright talking with racers experiencing their FIRST EVER podium. 🏆

That’s what CORR NEXT is all about.

For some racers, today was their first race.
For some, their first time at Firebird.
For some, their first podium.

Hopefully, it’s the first of many.
