Arizona Eagles This is the page of the new team Arizona Eagles of Murad-Rana Memorial Cricket Tournament.

Arizona Eagles Cricket Team has started its journey in October, 2011. The Eagles believe in “Cricket for Fun and Cricket for All” philosophy and encourage all the cricket enthusiasts who love the game but hesitate to actively participate in it for various reasons to join the game. The team “Arizona Eagles” was formed to accommodate increasing number of cricket lovers among the Bangladeshi communit

y in greater Phoenix region. In addition, the Eagles intend to increase the interest and active participation of cricket to the Bangladeshi community - especially to the younger generation. The Eagles plan to introduce cricket coaching session for younger generation players and also organize tennis ball cricket tournament to attract people into the game. The passion for the game of cricket, love for the Bangladesh cricket team, and being harmonious among the community are the key features of Arizona Eagles. Arizona Eagles appreciates greatly of the glorious cricket history of the Tigers (the Bangladeshis) in Arizona. Eagles are always respectful to Arizona Tigers Cricket Committee (ATCC) and their decisions. Arizona Eagles promise to bring a new dimension in the existing cricket community extend their hands toward any organizations or teams in growing the cricket culture within the valley.

Congrats Eagles for registering his win against Mesa Lions today. It was really an exciting match and a commendable win. Losing your captain after his first over was really a huge setback while posted total on the board was not as high as Eagles regular match. Hats off to all Eagles players who were on the pitch today. You guys have shown the real character of our team today. Special thanks to Asif hasan bhai for his steady half century and excellent captaincy of Iftekhar Nayeem Ahmed. It has reminded us famous win of Bangladesh Cricket team against West Indies in 2009 when captain Mashrafe suffered an injury at the middle of the match and Shakib step in and showed his class....

Arizona Eagles invite all its fans to come and enjoy the Final game of Murad-Rana Memorial Cricket Tournament 2014-2015 which will be played between Eagles and Broncos tomorrow (Feb 14, 2015) at Thude Park (Chandler) and cheer for Team Eagles. The game will start at 10:00 AM. After the game there will be award ceremony followed by lunch. See you there.
