🏆🏆 BACK-TO-BACK GATORADE PLAYER OF THE YEAR! 🏆🏆

A huge congratulations to Imani Galera-Young Mani on being named the 2026 Gatorade Arizona Girls Track & Field Player of the Year for the second consecutive year!

This prestigious honor recognizes excellence in athletic achievement, academic success, and exemplary character, and Imani continues to set the standard in all three.

From breaking the Arizona state record in the 300m hurdles (40.65), ranking among the nation’s best, leading Chandler High to another incredible season, maintaining a 4.23 GPA, and making an impact in the community, Imani has truly earned this recognition.

Your dedication, discipline, and relentless work ethic continue to inspire everyone around you. Chandler High is incredibly proud, and we can’t wait to watch you represent the University of Arkansas at the next level.

🏆 Congratulations to Chandler High’s own Imani Galera-Young on being named The Arizona Republic’s 2026 Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year! 🏆

Imani put together a season that will be remembered for years to come. The Arkansas signee shattered the Arizona state record in the 300-meter hurdles, clocking an incredible 40.65, and proved herself as one of the nation’s elite hurdlers.

She captured AIA Division I and State Championships in both the 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles, showcasing consistency, determination, and dominance on the track. In the 300-meter hurdles, Imani won 8 of her 9 races, and she closed out her senior season with a blazing 13.53 in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing No. 2 in Arizona.

Imani’s work ethic, leadership, and competitive spirit have made an impact far beyond Chandler High School.

Her support and training comes from hurdle coaching staff Michelle Reynolds-Flanagan who is one of the best hurdle coaches in the history of Chandler High Track and Field along with Cynthia Washington, and TJ Green one of her previous high school prodigies.

We are so proud of all that she has accomplished and cannot wait to see what she achieves next as a Razorback.

A huge congratulations to our Chandler High athletes for earning recognition on The Arizona Republic’s 2026 All-Arizona High School Girls and Boys Track & Field Team!

🏅 Imani Galera-Young – All-Arizona Team (Hurdles)
Imani put together a historic season, breaking the Arizona state record in the 300m hurdles, sweeping Division I and AIA State titles, and establishing herself as one of the nation’s top hurdlers.

🏅 Kyra Hogarth – All-Arizona Team (Jumps)
One of Arizona’s top pole vaulters, Kyra captured the Division I state championship and cleared a state-leading mark of 12’9” this season.

🏅 Tahli Elamin – All-Arizona Honorable Mention (Jumps) 6’8!
Congratulations to Tahli on earning All-Arizona Honorable Mention honors. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence continue to make Chandler High proud.

Congratulations to all three athletes on an outstanding season representing the Wolfpack!

We are proud of each of these young women for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence both on and off the track. They continue to represent Chandler High School at the highest level and inspire the next generation of athletes coming behind them.

Chandler Girls Flag Football and Chandler Track & Field continue to build strong, successful female champions. The future is bright at Chandler High School!

As your high school track and field journey comes to an end, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate each of you.

Thank you for everything you have given to this program. Thank you for showing up every day ready to work, compete, and represent Chandler High School with pride. Your commitment on the track, in the field, and in the classroom has set the standard for what it means to be a Chandler Wolf.

You brought great attitudes, strong work ethics, and a competitive spirit that helped lead this team throughout the season. More importantly, you raised the bar for the underclassmen who will follow in your footsteps.

Your impact on this program will not be forgotten, and you will be greatly missed.
