Growing up in northeast Oklahoma, I honed my duck hunting skills hunting public lands for greenheads. When my family moved to Nebraska, I found a bird hunters paradise. with massive flocks of mallards, thousands and thousands of geese. We typically hunt corn or wheat for geese, with ponds, cornfields, and the creek being the spot for fat cornhusker mallards.
