Illini Wushu Club

Illini Wushu Club The Illini Wushu Team is a University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign RSO that focuses on teaching students Wushu or Chinese Martial Arts.

Overall, Wushu is an excellent way to stay in shape, build character, and meet new people. Wushu can be considered one of the most demanding forms of martial arts due to its tremendous focus on aesthetics and grace. As a member of the Wushu Team, students will have the opportunity to learn basic techniques, stances, acrobatic jumping techniques, and bare-hand or weapon forms. The Illini Wushu Team

is fortunate to have several instructors who have competed at many national or international competitions. The Illini Wushu club performs at various events throughout the year including sporting events, cultural shows and many other events.
