Marching Illini Color Guard The official Color Guard for the Nation's Premier College Marching Band Our team consists of 26-30 members, with new auditions happening each season.

As part of Marching Illini, we perform at most MI events, including home football games during pre-game and halftime, parades, and community events. We practice with the band 5 times per week, as well as sectionals on our own 2-4 times per week. Throughout the season, we put on new routines for each halftime show, as well as the performance of many Marching Illini traditional routines. We are coached by 2019 MICG alum, Kaitlyn Pugh.
