June’s Member of the Month is Maverick Watkins!

At just 7 years old, Maverick has already made a big impact on our mats. His favorite martial art is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and you can find him consistently training in both our Gi and No-Gi kids classes with a smile on his face and a great attitude.
What stands out most about Maverick is his competitive spirit. He loves to challenge himself, works hard every class, and is always eager to learn. Over the past few months, he’s stepped up to compete in several tournaments, including our very first in-house Kids BJJ Tournament and most recently the Newbreed Atlanta competition, bringing home medals from both.
We’re incredibly proud of the progress he’s made and the way he represents Team Octopus every time he steps on the mat. Thank you, Maverick, for your hard work, positive attitude, and dedication. We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next.
