So excited to announce that UPLIFT is coming to Chambersburg Fitness Center!🏁💪🩵

Join our hype squad Monday nights at 6:15 starting in July. $10 per class or membership options available.

We are excited to welcome Cortney Shaffer to Chambersburg Fitness Center. Cortney will be teaching a new SHINE Fitness class called UPLIFT💪.

June is here! If summer frees up your schedule, we'd love for you to join our dancing and lifting community. ☀️

🩵🩷June 17th - We get a double! I'll be subbing for Kelsey's Latin Dance class right after UPLIFT.

🩷June 20th and 27th - Me and Melissa will be swapping some Saturday classes this summer to allow us some vacation time with our families. Between the two of us, we'll be SHiNEing at the YMCA all summer long.

🇺🇸 June 29th to July 4th - The Chambersburg YMCA Nitterhouse Center is closed for Summer break, so there will be no classes that week.

👀 I included a little peep of July so you can look ahead after the break.

People often ask, "What's the difference between SHiNE and UPLIFT?" These two clips from our classes this past Saturday morning answer that question perfectly.

SHiNE is:
🩷 cardio dance based in jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and athletic styles
🩷 a variety of vibes including sassy, graceful, gritty, sultry, playful, and more
🩷 current trending music with a handful of really good throwbacks
🩷 no equipment necessary

UPLIFT is:
🩵 functional strength training with a dedicated muscle group for each song
🩵 hype energy that engages the whole class
🩵 iconic music from decades past
🩵 dumbells, resistance bands, mini balls, balance work, and floor work on a mat

🩷 SHiNE DANCE FITNESS pairs today’s hottest music with simple, high-energy routines that make everyone feel like a dancer. Each class blends hip hop, jazz, lyrical, and athletic styles. With so much variety in one class, students get to tap into different alter egos, making the workout not only effective but incredibly fun and empowering.

🩵 UPLIFT makes strength fitness hella FUN! This is a high vibe class that combines iconic music with routines that target one muscle group at a time. This full-body workout is highly effective as we use hand weights, bands, mini balls, and finish the hour with mat work. Try it once and you will see and FEEL what all the hype is about.

I'm subbing for Jenny's Strong Nation class tonight at the Chambersburg YMCA Nitterhouse Center from 5:45-6:30. 45 minutes of strength training to iconic music so good, you'll be singing along. 🎤

Can't make it tonight? No sweat. A couple other dates for UPLIFT classes will be coming soon in May. 👀
