Today I had Craig, Mike, and Josh out in the Beautiful Marshes of Delicroix. We left Sweetwater headed to go look for Trout to no avail. We then decided to go target Redfish. We hit the first area and picked up 3 keepers then we made a move and hit the mother load. We were back at the dock with 12 reds, 1 black drum, and 4 blue cats.

I havenโ€™t had a chance to post in a while, but today I think is post worthy. The weather and fishing in Delicroix has been fantastic, but today was a different animal.
My clients came in from central Florida yesterday to fish today. We got up this morning and the winds were howling 25+mph and dirty low water. I talked to a few other charter captains that canceled or rescheduled their trips and with good reason. I talked to my client and they said they wanted to go try anyway since they were already here. I explained to them it could be a rough day with the conditions, and not to put their expectations very high. So we went out with low expectations and high hopes. Well all I can say is they braved the conditions and concord them. They caught their 3 man limit of beautiful Delicroix Redfish and a few nice freshwater cats to boot.

I havenโ€™t had a chance to post in a while, but today I think is post worthy. The weather and fishing in Delicroix has been fantastic, but today was a different animal.

Today was another awesome day in the beautiful marshes of Delicroix Louisiana. The fishing is on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Joey and his crew put a hurting on the fish. We kept our 12 Reds with a few bonus black drum, but that only tell some of the story. I lost count on how many over and under reds we released. The best part is as the weather starts to cool down for fall the fishing is only going to get better. We still have some open dates for September and October but they are filling up fast.

Today I had the pleasure of taking Miss Shirley her husband Mr. Dan and their daughter and Son-in-Law, out in the beautiful marshes of Delicroix. We started out targeting redfish with little to show for it, so we switched gears a caught 34 beautiful fresh water cats. On the way to the dock we made 1 last stop and hit pay dirt. We ended the day with 34 fresh water cats, 16 reds, 4 black drum. Great time had by all if your looking to go catching give Duvalleโ€™s Cajun Charters a call.
