Hey Pelican, Fans! It’s time to rally the flock and support the 2026/27 Nunez Community College Baseball Team!

Our student-athletes work hard both on the field and in the classroom throughout the year. This fundraiser is your opportunity to help us fund essential equipment, travel expenses, and facility upgrades that keep our program competitive and our players thriving.

Whether you’re a die-hard baseball fan, a proud alumnus, or simply enjoy a good community event, this is the must-attend occasion of the season. Since launching our inaugural season, Pelicans Baseball has grown from a brand-new program into a legitimate regional powerhouse. Nunez is currently experiencing its most successful era in school history, marked by historic 30+ win seasons, exciting postseason runs, and an increasing number of All-Conference player honors.

But our true pride lies in how these young men represent St. Bernard Parish. Pelicans not only excel on the diamond; they also dominate in the classroom, consistently maintaining impressive team GPAs and earning Academic All-American recognition. For many local athletes, Nunez has become the ultimate launching pad, allowing them to earn their associate degrees before moving on to prestigious four-year NCAA and NAIA programs.
