Basics is our annual conference for pastors and Christian workers. Each year, pastors, church leaders, and seminarians are invited to join Alistair Begg and guest speakers for three days as we reflect together on the challenges, responsibilities, and privileges of pastoral ministry. Basics is for men: pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and Christian workers or those training for such roles.

Alistair and the Truth For Life team have partnered with Crossroads Community Church in Valencia, California, for this year's Basics Conference. This conference aims to encourage and equip leaders to do the basics of Christian ministry well.

The theme this year highlights Christ's help in four areas: the under-shepherd's preaching strengthened by Christ's presence, his character shaped by Christ's heart, his mind guarded by Christ's wisdom, and his teaching bound by Christ's doctrine. It's an opportunity for men in ministry to come together for fellowship, Bible study, and mutual encouragement.
