Let's talk about your ankles. If you're struggling to go deep on squats without breaking form, the problem may not be with your knees... it might be with your ankle flexibility.

Want a quick way to find out if this might be your problem? Try the knee-to-wall test. Stand in a short lunge position with the toes of your front foot about five inches away from a wall. Then, bend your front knee forward until it's touching the wall. Do this with both feet. If both knees can touch the wall without your heels lifting, your ankles are good to go. If not, you might have ankle mobility problems.
