📍 Looking for a quiet weekend by the lake?

The Tuttle Lake Recreation Area is a great place to spend a few hours, a full day, or even the weekend outdoors. Whether you’re bringing a camper or tent, launching the boat, or spending time fishing from shore, there’s plenty to enjoy.

The park is maintained by Emmet County Conservation and is located on the southwest side of the lake.

We’re only about 7 minutes from the campground, so stop by and grab bait before heading out. 🎣

🎣 FREE Fishing in Minnesota! 🎣

This is a great opportunity to get outside or bring along friends who haven’t fished before so they can give it a try! Minnesota DNR is allowing license-free fishing June 2nd through June 8th while they transition to a new electronic licensing system. That means anyone can fish Minnesota waters during this period. All fishing regulations, seasons, and bag limits still apply.

You all must be finding the fish! We are currently sold out of minnows, but we still have leeches and crawlers in stock. We’re working on getting more minnows as soon as possible and will let everyone know when they’re back. Thanks for keeping us busy and for your patience!

Huge thank you to the Wubbenas for spending the day on the water with Bret today! The boys had an absolute blast, and the fish were definitely biting. Gavin made the day even more memorable with a 16¼ inch crappie weighing in at 2.02 pounds! 🎣

Bret said it was a pretty fun day all around, and the boys made it even better with how excited they were over every fish. We’re thankful the Wubbenas came out with him and let us share a little piece of their day!

We might just have something brewing, so stay tuned… 👀🎣

Free For The Kids 🎣

Lucas and Heather Ratcliffe brought in a tub full of fishing goodies for the kids, and we’re so thankful for their generosity. We love anything that gets kids outside and out on the lake.

We just ask that everyone is mindful and takes only what they need so it can go around for everyone. It’s really special seeing our community come together like this, and we appreciate you all.
