I help women get over their fear of food, understand nutritional values and set habits that will enable them to reach their health and fitness goals. ⁣A common reason you’re not seeing progress in your training: You need progressive overload!⠀

Our muscles do adapt to stress. This is why we must continuously increase the amount of stress or work put on your muscles to maximize muscle strength, endurance, and size. This is called progressive overload.

This can be done a number of ways. ⠀
increasing weight ⠀
Increasing reps⠀
Increasing sets⠀
Increasing training frequency ⠀
Increasing resistance ⠀
Decreasing rest time⠀

There’s no need to do all of these at once. Starting with one or two may get you further than you are now. Try something from this list for the next few weeks in your training and see how your body responds!

Try adding a few of these fiber rich foods to your diet!⠀

1/2 cup kidney beans 5.5 grams of fiber⠀
1/2 cup lentils 7.8 grams of fiber ⠀
1/2 cup split peas 8.1 grams of fiber⠀
1/2 cup artichoke 4.8 grams of fiber ⠀
1 medium sweet potato 3.8 grams of fiber⠀

The recommended amount of fiber for women is around 25 grams per day!
