💥 BIG SUNDAY FOR SHOOTERS! 💥

If you are looking for something to do this weekend, you are in luck—this coming Sunday is packed with some great options for shooting!

We are kicking things off right here at home, followed by a great event with our neighbors. Here is your Sunday lineup:

1️⃣ First Up: The Indianhead Sunday Shoot!
📍 Where: Balsam Lake Rod and Gun Club
🏆 Come on out and join us as we host the very first Indianhead Sunday Shoot of the season! Let's get a great turnout, smash some targets, and start the series off right.

2️⃣ Next Stop: Willow River Turkey Shoot!
📍 Where: Willow River Rod and Gun Club
⏰ When: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Once you are done shooting at Balsam Lake Gun Club, load up and head over to support our friends at Willow River for their Turkey Shoot! It’s a perfect way to double down on a great day of shooting and community camaraderie.

Whether you hit up one or both, it is going to be an awesome day to get out on the line. Grab your gear, bring a friend, and let’s make it a great Sunday! 🌲💥

The traps are loaded and ready for tonight's league! We are looking forward to a great night of shooting—as long as Mother Nature decides to play nice and keep the weather in check.

The Traps Are Loaded & The Season Is Underway!

Trap season is officially rolling at the Balsam Lake Rod & Gun Club, and it is awesome to see the parking lot full and faces back at the club!

Now that we’ve got a couple of weeks under our belts, we’ve gotta ask... how is your early season going??

Are you already in mid-season form, dialed in, and ready to talk some serious smack to your buddies? Or are you still dusting off the cobwebs, adjusting your lead, and getting settled into your groove?

No matter what the scorecard looks like... the best part of the season is just being back out here, catching up with everyone, and enjoying the camaraderie (and the friendly ribbing) that makes this club so great.

See you out on the line this week—aim small, miss small!

Today, the Balsam Lake Rod & Gun Club pauses to honor and remember the brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are deeply grateful for their selflessness, courage, and dedication, which protect the freedoms we enjoy every day—including the freedom to gather, enjoy our beautiful waters, and pass down our outdoor heritage to the next generation.

To our members, neighbors, and local community: thank you for your incredible support and for being such a vital part of our club family. We truly appreciate you all.

As we spend this day with family, friends, and fellow sportsmen, let’s keep the families of our fallen heroes in our thoughts.

Happy Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend!

The long weekend is officially in full swing, the weather is beautiful, and the lake is calling! Whether you are heading out on the water, firing up the grill, or spending some quality time in the great outdoors, we hope you are having a safe and fantastic weekend.

As we enjoy the kickoff to the summer season with family and friends, the Balsam Lake Rod & Gun Club wants to extend a huge thank you to our incredible members, neighbors, and local community. Your continued support of our club, conservation efforts, and local heritage is what makes this area such a special place to live and visit.

🦅 A Weekend of Remembrance
While we enjoy the camaraderie with friends and family this weekend, let’s also take time to remember and honor the true meaning of Monday's holiday—the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Good luck to everyone casting a line, hitting the range today or just enjoying some time outdoors today. Stay safe on the water, look out for one another, and enjoy every minute of this beautiful Saturday!
