SYA Cheerleading Welcome to SYA Cheerleading...We Glitter on Purpose! Youth Cheerleading Sports in Centreville, VA. SYA cheerleading is open to boys and girls ages 5 - 16.

Cheer Team assignments will be made during Spirit Week and we do try to honor all special requests. Fall Sideline Cheerleading begins in August and ends in mid-November. Every cheer team has a different practice day(s) throughout the week. Practice days, time, and location is determined by SYA coaches. For additional information, please visit our website.

Teamwork doesn’t just happen on the field. SYA is teaming up with to support neighbors in need, and we’d love your help! They’re especially in need of: flour (5lb or less), sugar (1–2lb), cooking oil, Similac baby formula (blue label), pads, and baby wipes. Items can be dropped off at SYA Office: 5950 Centreville Crest Ln Dec 13 & 14 from 9am-1pm Dec 16 & 18 from 9am-4pm. Thank you for helping support our community!

CALLING ALL FUTURE COMPETITION CHEER ATHLETES!

SYA Extreme is holding end-of-summer Competitive Cheer Evaluations on Sunday, August 24th! If you are interested in joining a competitive cheer team for the 2025-2026 season, please join us for evaluations between 2:30-5:30 pm. Our gym facility is located at 13941 Willard Road in Chantilly, Virginia.

SYA Extreme is a COED competitive cheer program for athletes ages 5-18. No experience is necessary! For the 2025-2026 season, SYA Extreme is planning to compete teams in the Performance Elite Recreational Cheer Division at the following levels:

Tiny Level 1 (ages 6 and under) & Mini Level 1 (ages 8 and under)
Youth Level 1 & Youth Level 2.1 (ages 12 and under)
Junior Level 2 & Junior Level 3 (ages 14 and under)
Senior 3 & Senior Level 4 (ages 11-18)
