Ain't no tired like dance competition tired, especially when it's all wrapped up in 1 day. These girls did phenomenally.
This weekend wasn’t just about trophies or placements — it was about heart, courage, growth, and stepping on that stage with confidence.
So proud of every single one of our dancers for giving it their all, supporting each other, and representing our studio with class and determination. Competitions are one small moment in a much bigger journey, and these girls continue to grow stronger every time they perform.
Keep shining, keep working, and keep believing in yourselves. Your hard work never goes unnoticed. 🩷🖤🩷🖤
Ajudications were a little different from what we're used to but it didn't stop any of them from placing.
Millie competed for the very first time. She placed in the Premier division and category with a High Gold. She was even awarded the "From the Heart" Judge's Award.
I want to give props to Tori. She had to level up because of her age, so she wasnt able to compete in the division she should have been for a 1st year competer. She should have competed in Premier but had to compete in Encore.... she still placed and was awarded a High Gold.
Sara Rose rocked the stage with her solo in the Premier Division. She received an Elite Gold and 3rd Place Overall!
Lala competed in the Encore Division and placed with a High Gold for her solo. She was also chosen to participate as an Elite Star Performer for Nationals this summer.
KK competed her solo in the Encore Division and placed with a High Gold. She was also chosen as an Elite Star Performer this summer for Nationals.
Lacie competed in the Elite Division. She was one of four dancers for the whole competition who received an Elite Reserve adjudication for one of her solos. Her other solo received an Elite Gold. Lacie will be joining Lala and KK as an Elite Star Performer for Nationals. Lacie was also awarded a scholarship for an Oklahoma City University Dance Audition scholarship.
Our duets, trio, and group dance all placed in their divisions and all the girls have qualified for Nationals.
Other mentions:
BO$$ (Lacie, Lala, KK, and Sara) received a Judge's Award for Showmanship.
Warrior (Lacie and KK) received a Judge's Award for From the Heart.
Feeling Good (Lala and KK) received a Dynamic Duo Judge's Award. This is the second time that these 2 girls received this award for their duets. The 1st time was when they competed their 1st ever duet Burning Love for the same competition back when they where tiny dancers.
Man, I love these girls!
