All the volunteers at Hub City Bike Shop are enjoying some well-deserved time away from the shop during this holiday season. However, when a bike comes into the shop that belongs to a rider with special mobility needs, we do whatever it takes to get the bike back up and running as fast as possible. Even if that means putting our holiday break on pause.
We had last serviced Penny's three wheeled recumbent trike in early '22 and she had put a lot of miles on the rig since then. This time it was in need of a complete drivetrain overhaul.
Shop mechanic Cecil Zellers replaced parts and did all the necessary tuning to put Penny's trike back in fine shape.
Penny is once again happily riding her trike and HCBS is glad to have helped her to keep rolling. Happy trails! 🚲

Hub City Bike Shop wishes everyone a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving!
Please note that the shop will be closed on Saturday November 29 for the holiday weekend.
We will reopen and return to regular shop hours on Tuesday, December 2nd. at 10am.
