Congratulations to Aundray Fowler (c/o 2026) and Rocco Natale Jr. (c/o 2027) who were selected to play on the Capital team at the BCANY Summer Hoops Fest this weekend!
BCANY (Basketball Coaches Association of New York) represents basketball coaches across New York State, from boys and girls scholastic teams to men's and women's collegiate programs. The Summer Hoops Fest gave these boys an opportunity to play in front of MANY different college coaches, while celebrating the spirit of competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship by bringing together high level teams for a competitive weekend of basketball.

Capital (Section Il)
Central (Section IIl)
Southern Tier (Section IV)
Rochester (Section V)
Buffalo (Section VI)
Nassau (Section VIII)
Mid- Hudson (Section IX)
North Country (Section X)
Suffolk (Section XI)
Aundray and Rocco represented Amsterdam and played on the Capital team (Section Il) alongside other talented players from around the region including Bethlehem, Ichabod Crane, CBA, Hudson Falls, Schalmont, Tamarac, BKW and Shenendehowa. Congratulations on this fantastic accomplishment boys! 👏👏!! Way to represent Amsterdam 🐏🏀👏

The match up is set! The Boys Basketball team will take on Bethlethem this Saturday, March 1 from the HVCC gym in the McDonough Sports Complex. Tickets are avaliable through Go Fan - no cash will be accepted on site.

Sectional Brackets are out!!! And our Varsity Boys enter the postseason as the 4️⃣ seed!

The boys will get some time off but will be preparing to take on either Bethlehem ( #5) or Columbia ( #12) at Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday, March 1, at 11:30 am.

UPDATE🚨GAMES POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER🚨

🚨‼️ Due to the hazardous road conditions being created by the lake effect snow bands Today’s games are being postponed.‼️🚨

It's a President's Day matinee as your Amsterdam Rams close out the regular season in a non league matchup against Albany. Doors open at 10:30, first tip is at 11:00 with the JV team, followed by the Varsity at 12:30.
