Members of the Crush team trickled back to New York from the SCTP National Competition @ The Cardinal Center in Marengo, Ohio on Saturday and Sunday after competing in a variety of disciplines including International Trap, Sporting Clays, American S***t, American Trap, Doubles Trap, Handicap Trap, Doubles S***t and Super Sporting Clays. While Sally & Samantha earned some bling to bring home, there were several other notable accomplishments from various team members.
At the collegiate level, Mason earned his first 25 straight in handicap trap, shooting from the 25 yard line, and missed the podium by 1 clay, ending up in 4th place. In American Trap, Jameson shot a 198 and ended up 6th with his reverse run. Making a return to the collegiate scene after a two-year hiatus was Thomas, stepping up and earning his first ever 100 straight on his second day of singles trap, ending with a 195 total and the 13th spot among collegiate males.
In the Senior Varsity Male division, Jackson, who also earned 100 straight on his second day of American Trap competition and ended with a final score of 199, was bumped from podium status to 7th place with his reverse run of 159. There were four of 950 Senior Varsity males that shot 200 straight and thirteen with a 199.
