There are an insane amount of leg attacks from inside your opponents' guard. Whether they're applied to attain a submission, or just to keep your opponent playing defense and allowing you to pass, the more leg attacks you have in your arsenal of techniques, the more your opponents'guard becomes a liability to them.

and I have been training together for 10 years. We sparred countless rounds in kickboxing , mma , wrestling and Jiu Jitsu. Some rounds were hard , some were light and some were to the death. No matter what intensity the rounds were our goal was the same, to challenge one another and help each other get better. I never once had to worry about Rolando ignoring my safety in effort to “win” a round. We train hard but never reckless. Our lighter paced rounds are purposeful with objective technical goals. The aim is always to improve not to prove ourselves to one another. It is imperative to have like minded training partners in the pursuit of mastery but if someone comes in to train and breaks those unspoken agreements, you let that muthaf**ka know
