Central High Bowling is about giving all students another outlet in varsity sports. CHS Bowling is home to 4 LHSAA State Championships, 5 LHSAA State Runner-Up, 8 District Titles and strive to add many more in the near future. CHS Bowling accepts all students with an interest in bowling (whether you have bowling experience or not and both boys and girls welcomed). Some pictures from our Last Day/Senior Day of bowling! If you're wondering about the orange wigs; some of the players asked the coaches if they can get 4 strikes in a row, would they wear the wigs for Senior Day. Well they did! So we did!

Girls vs Woodlawn 3/18/2026
-Boys Central won 25-2!!!
-Girls Woodlawn won 19-8, but it was a battle!

Boys MVP: Luke Ackoury with his highest LHSAA Series of a 715! (236, 235, 244)
Special Shout out to the following:
-Russell bowled his highest series of 277
-Tyler bowled his high game of 148 and high series of 405
-Brennan bowled his high game 246 and series 680

Girls Top Bowler: Gracie Aucoin with a series of 568
Special Shout out to the following:
-Hanna again bowled every game above her current HS average (148). 182, 157, 154. Very Consistant!

We had a wonderful last night/senior night! Thanks for everyone that attended. It was great seeing these students and the support from friends/family. It's truly great to be a Wildcat!

Girls vs University Lab 3/16/2026
-Boys Liberty Magnet won 24-3
-Girls Central won 21-6!!

Boys Top Bowler: Luke Ackoury with a series of 582
Special Shout out to the following:
-Blayne bowled his high series this season of 351!
-Brennan yet again bowled his high game of this season, at 235.

Girls MVP: Gracie Aucoin with a series of 557
Special Shout out to the following:
-Hanna bowled every game above her current HS average (149). 151, 167, 185.
-Car'lia bowled her high game of 118 and high series of 314!
-Jordynn bowled her high game of 149 and high series of 342!

Once again we see bowlers setting new Series/Game highs, and the girls Rockin' and Rollin' with another win!

Our last regular game of the season and Senior Day will be Wednesday 3/18/26 at All Star Lanes. Come support you wildcats as the Boys and Girls both take on Woodlawn!

-Boys Central won 17-10
-Girls SJA won 23-4

Boys MVP: Luke Ackoury with a series of 573 and a high game of 235
Special Shout out to the following:
-Blayne bowled only 1 pin under his high series of 348, at 347.
-Russell also bowled only 1 pin under his high game of 108, at 107.
-Brennan bowled his high game of this season, at 227.

Girls top Bowler: Gracie once again breaking high scores with her Highest Series at 650, and highest game at 253!
Special Shout out to the following:
-Hanna was only 3 pins shy of her highest HS game of 192, at 189.

Once again we see bowlers setting new Series/Game highs. Keep it up!

-Boys Baton Rouge won 22-5
-Girls SJA won 22-5

Boys Top bowler: Brennan with a Series of 545
Special Shout out to the following:
-Tyler hit his high series again of a 365 and his high game of 142

Girls top Bowler: Gracie with a 590 series (Her high this season) and 2nd highest game of 245 which is just 5 pins under her new highest game she hit last week of 250.
Special Shout out to the following:
-Hanna bowled her highest game of the season with a 192 and at 506 was only 11 pins away from matching her season high series of 517.

We love seeing everyone beat their previous high scores and series. Several of you bowled really close games so keep up the effort. We've got another game on Friday!

-Girls Woodlawn won 21-6

Boys Top bowler: Luke with a Series of 589 and high game of 266 which shattered his previous high game of 221!
Special Shout out to the following:
-Blayne bowled his high series with a 348!
-Tyler had his high series of a 340 and high game of 128
-Gabe Bowled his high game of the season with a 102 and was only 1 pin shy of tying his high series of the season with a 262.

Girls top Bowler: Gracie with a 564 series and high game of 250 which shattered her previous high game of 233!

-Jordynn had her high game of 122
-Hanna with another consistent week at 157, 144, 158.

*Yes, we played them again!

-Girls Denham Springs won 24-3

Top Bowler: Gracie with a 548 series which is her high this year.
Special Shout out to the following:
-Hanna Rawls had a very consistent day with game of 171, 173, 173 for her high series this season of 517!
-Riley and Jordynn bowled very close to each other with a series of 291 and 297!

Unfortunately we only had 4 girls bowling, which makes it difficult. But all 4 poured their heart in to each and every game. We're so proud of you!

-Luke was right behind Brennan with a 624 and high game of 222
-Tyler also had his high game of the season with 117 and high series of 336

-East Ascension won 25-2
That was a very tough game as EA came out swinging. But I'm super proud of the Boys giving it their all.

Top bowler: Brennan with a 520 Series and high game of 200.

Special Shout out to the following:
-Luke was right behind Brennan with a 507
-Russell bowled his highest game this season at 109.
-Blayne bowled his high game of the season at 129, and high series of the season at 308.

Girls vs East Ascension 2/9/2026

-East Ascension won 21.5-5.5

The final score doesn't show that this was a hard fought battle between these two schools. Several of the matches were won/lost by less than 10 pins. The teams were very evenly matched!

Top bowler: Gracie with a 494 Series and high game of 205.

Special Shout out to the following:
-Riley bowled a 137 high game and 381 series. (Her highest this season)
-Jordynn bowled a 114 high game and 256 series. (Her highest this season)
-Taylor bowled a 174 high game and 368 series. (Her highest this season)
-Lily bowled a series of 326 (Her highest this season)
