I (Eric) have been greatly involved with kayaking for many years, mostly outside of Iowa. I was in Virginia for several years before coming here. The realization that Iowa has quite a few great waterways (both rivers and lakes), in fact this year (2020) we are going to start keeping a video record of waterways (and their enjoyment, in Iowa) but very little in the form of businesses that the main goal is to help people have fun and be responsible in the equipment that fits their uses the best. So I decided that Up A Creek needed to be born.
