After a tough loss yesterday against Fairview the girls are back in action tonight with a chance to go to the championship game! They play at 5:30 in Waverly against Dickson.

No matter the outcome, we are super proud of these young girls and how hard they fought over the past few days! Good Luck!!

Our 6U girls are 2-0 in Waverly at their district tournament. One more win and then are state tournament bound so barring any weather delays they play at 5pm in Waverly today against Fairview! So if you need Sunday afternoon plans please go support these girls!

After jersey delays for our 8U girls, we were hoping to get a team photo to post about their tournament from this weekend. Unfortunately their time at their tournament came to an end Friday night after a hard fought 1 run loss but we still want to make sure we recognize these awesome girls.

We are proud of all of them and can't wait to see what next year brings.

It's 8am and Friday. Two things that make us happy! Friday because it's Friday and Softball District Tournament weekend and 8 because our 6U girls went 8 innings last night and WON game 1 of their District Tournament! They play late this afternoon at 5pm in Waverly against the host team Humphreys County. Good luck girls!

⚾ WE NEED YOU! 2026 Board Nominations are OPEN! 🥎

Doyle and Fay Bowen Memorial Park is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our board for a 2-year term starting August 1st, 2026!

The following positions are up for election and happen even numbered year:
Secretary
Scheduler
Concessions Manager
Facilities Manager
Coach Pitch Baseball Commissioner

Nominations are due by May 27th. This gives us time to notify nominees and ensure they are willing to accept the responsibilities. Voting will happen on closing day May 30th!

Note: Only current player parents/guardians, coaches, and board members are eligible to vote. Please read all the other guidance on the form itself.

🚨 WEATHER UPDATE 🚨

Due to weather conditions, all games for tonight (4/28/26) have been canceled at Centerville Baseball & Softball.

We know everyone is eager to play, but the safety of our players, families, coaches, and officials always comes first.

🚭 SMOKE-FREE PARK REMINDER 🚭

Doyle & Fay Bowen Memorial Park is a strictly smoke-free facility. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the park, especially in the bleachers, stands, common areas, or near the playing fields.

The health and comfort of our children, families, and athletes comes first. Young players should be able to compete, and families should be able to enjoy the ballpark, without being surrounded by smoke.

Anyone seen smoking in these areas will be asked to stop immediately or leave the facility.

We appreciate everyone helping us keep the park clean, respectful, and family-friendly for all. Thank you for supporting our players and community. ⚾🥎
