This regionals was a much bigger deal than any other year. Less than a year ago Emmelene broker her patella and had major surgery on her knee. I have watched her recover with more persistence and grit than I thought possible. She came back to dancing determined to just show up on stage, little did we know that she would tie for 2nd and qualify for nationals. When I saw her dance, I knew she had just accomplished what many thought impossible. She is a huge example to me of gong for your dreams and not letting anything get in your way. Congrats Emmelene! I’m so proud of you and so excited for Nationals!

I can’t believe it’s showtime tomorrow :). Our dress rehearsal today went well. Good luck tomorrow dancers! The 5:30 show is sold out, but if anyone is interested in coming, we still have a few seats still open for the 7:15 pm show.
