We are excited to announce that we have officially purchased a HitTrax system for our new indoor facility! This is a huge step forward for our players and program.

So what is HitTrax? 👀

HitTrax offers so much for our athletes, coaches, and families. Our coaches and trainers will be able to record and break down hitting, pitching, and catching to help players continue developing at a high level. Parents will also be able to access their player’s profile through the HitTrax app to track progress and performance.

Players will be able to take batting practice in simulations of every MLB stadium 🏟️🔥

We will also be running:
⚾ HitTrax Winter Leagues
⚾ Home Run Derby competitions
⚾ Prizes for winners
⚾ Advanced player development and tracking

‼️ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

Over the last couple of years youth traveling sports in Wayne County have become a breeding ground for politics and ego’s which in return has caused great teams to split up, the best players in the area spread between 5+ teams, coaches not allowing their team to scrimmage other local teams or stopping their players from filling in for others because of their grudge against fellow adults. This has done a massive disservice to the youth in the area. After many discussions with other team leaders and great thought we have decided time for change is greatly needed. After almost 7 years of service to the youth The Finest felt it would be in the best interest of the youth to set our differences aside and combine with the Hoosier Heat Baseball. This merger will accomplish many things. One it shows each leaders ability to set competition and ego’s aside to better serve the youth, we feel as though we need to “put our money where our mouths are” and lead by example. It allows for some of the best athletes in the area to finally come together to compete and succeed to their full potential as they should. Finally, it allows for growth of services. More coaches, more training, more fields, bigger and better training tools, and a BIGGER FACILITY! This move will allow some of the best baseball and softball minds around to finally collaborate together and teach our children the games they love. To everyone who has ever worn a Finest jersey, we thank you! To any parent who has allowed your player to wear a Finest jersey, thank you! This is not good bye, this is a welcoming to the future and to a culture and success not seen in this area in a long time! This also does not mark the end of the season for the Finest. Current Finest teams will continue to play through the season and represent the Finest and their values until the end of the season. Again, thanks to anyone who was ever a part of the Finest Family.

Eastern Indiana Finest 13U Walk-Off In Nail-Biter Against Marucci Prospects Indiana East 13U Austin

It came down to the wire on Sunday, as Eastern Indiana Finest 13U grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 11-10, over Marucci Prospects Indiana East 13U Austin. The game was tied at 10 in the bottom of the sixth when Connor P singled, scoring one run.

Bats blistered as Eastern Indiana Finest 13U collected 13 hits and Marucci Prospects Indiana East 13U Austin tallied 11 in the high-scoring game.

Marucci Prospects Indiana East 13U Austin got on the board in the first inning after Jonathan A singled, scoring one run.

Jayden T singled down the left field line, which helped Eastern Indiana Finest 13U tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

Marucci Prospects Indiana East 13U Austin took the lead in the top of the third inning after Jonathan A flew out, and Leeland R walked, each scoring one run.

Eastern Indiana Finest 13U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring eight runs on eight hits to take the lead, 9-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Asher R that drove in two.

Marucci Prospects Indiana East 13U Austin made the score 10-9 in the top of the sixth after Garrett S grounded out, scoring one run, Kaiden H grounded out, scoring one run, and Leeland R singled, scoring two runs.

Eastern Indiana Finest 13U took the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning after Kyle L walked, and Connor P singled to left field, each scoring one run.

Cooper E earned the win for Eastern Indiana Finest 13U. The lefty gave up five hits and four runs over one inning, striking out none and walking one. Jonathan A took the loss for Marucci Prospects Indiana East 13U Austin. The righty went one-third of an inning, surrendering two runs (one earned) on two hits, striking out one and walking two. Brayden B led things off on the bump for Eastern Indiana Finest 13U. The right-handed pitcher allowed one hit and one run over one inning, striking out none and walking one. Landon H started the game for Marucci Prospects Indiana East 13U Austin. The starting pitcher gave up nine hits and seven runs over four and one-third innings, striking out five and walking none. Bennett A and Jude S each appeared in relief for Eastern Indiana Finest 13U.

Eastern Indiana Finest 13U amassed 13 hits in the game. Jayden T and Connor P were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Eastern Indiana Finest 13U. Jayden T, Connor P, Asher R, and Kyle L each drove in two runs for Eastern Indiana Finest 13U. Jude S collected two hits for Eastern Indiana Finest 13U in three at bats. Jayden T stole three bases. Big Fourth Inning Leads Eastern Indiana Finest 13U Past Performance Baseball Club 13U White

Eastern Indiana Finest 13U scored seven runs in the fourth inning, which helped them defeat Performance Baseball Club 13U White 12-4 on Saturday. Jayden T tripled, scoring two runs, Cooper E was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Rennic C singled, scoring one run, Brayden B singled, scoring one run, and Kyle L singled, scoring two runs.

Performance Baseball Club 13U White got on the board in the first inning after Cruz M grounded out, scoring one run.

Cooper E doubled down the left field line, which helped Eastern Indiana Finest 13U tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

In the top of the second, Performance Baseball Club 13U White broke up the tie when Oakley B doubled, scoring one run. Then a single by Xavier R followed to extend the lead to 4-1.

Eastern Indiana Finest 13U took the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Cooper E tripled down the left field line, Rennic C singled to center field, and Jayce J walked, each scoring one run.

Jude S earned the win for Eastern Indiana Finest 13U. The right-handed pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out three and walking one. Roy B took the loss for Performance Baseball Club 13U White. The pitcher went one and one-third innings, surrendering seven runs on five hits, striking out three and walking five. Jayden T stepped on the hill first for Eastern Indiana Finest 13U. The pitcher gave up four hits and four runs over two innings, striking out three and walking four. Simon A started on the bump for Performance Baseball Club 13U White. The hurler allowed five hits and five runs (four earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out two and walking two. Connor P collected the save.

Eastern Indiana Finest 13U got on the board in the first inning after Cooper E singled, scoring one run.

Eastern Indiana Finest 13U committed an error, which helped US Athletic 13U tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.

Eastern Indiana Finest 13U took the lead in the top of the third. A passed ball scored one run, to give Eastern Indiana Finest 13U the upper hand, 2-1.

Brayden B earned the win for Eastern Indiana Finest 13U. The righty gave up one hit and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out three and walking two. Brantley C took the loss for US Athletic 13U. The pitcher went four and one-third innings, surrendering four runs (zero earned) on two hits, striking out seven and walking four. Bennett A, Jude S, and Asher R each threw shutout innings for Eastern Indiana Finest 13U in relief.
