At Bethel camp this week with our Lady Dawgs program. This many players I can’t lie is stressful, but it’s great to see our high school’s current and future all together supporting each other and bonding. They are exhausted, sore, and probably ready for a break from each other , but this will be something they look back on as one of the best times of their lives. Excited to watch them continue to grow together.

Your Lady Dawgs have been grinding all week at Wayne County team camp overnight. This camp isn’t for everyone. Sleeping classrooms on air mattresses, taking cold showers, playing at 8am and 8 pm. Still keeping a smile on their faces and competing everyday. We competed and got better from start to finish and are better for it. No rest for us on to Freed tomorrow for a day of several games then a short break until we leave for Bethel overnight camp on Sunday. Let’s keep growing and getting better. .

Last night we capped our season with our basketball dinner for our 25-26 Lady Dawgs. This group deserves all the recognition in the world. They made history this past season winning the first district championship since 2011. Finishing with a 23-6 record which is the most wins in the past decade as well. What’s most impressive about them is the love they have for each other on and off the court.After their recognition last night it turned into a pickleball tournament! Always have to be competitive! They celebrated Monroe Gordon’s birthday as well and shared their night with her. We missed Ava Floyd and Karlie Everette, but they are out of town playing in an AAU tournament. Thank you Pinewood Church of Christ for allowing us to have the dinner in your fellowship hall. Thank you to everyone for the support all season long. We look forward to getting back after it soon with group 26-27 and building on what we did this year!

Went today and watched #23 Lady Dawg Bailey Cramer play AAU basketball with Team Nike Select 2027. Glad to see her continuing to grind and improve her game during the offseason.
