Today marks 27 years in business for me. I opened my school when I was 19 years old. My mother always said do you enjoy in life and you’ll never feel like you’ve worked a day. So I set out on a journey to do what I love and at the same time change peoples lives for the better. It’s sad to say though...I will be officially closing my doors permanently as of today. This government shut down was a bit too much for me. I had an incredible run doing what I loved and I wouldn’t have change a thing. I’ve met some amazing people along the way. Created great friendships, matched other people up that have gone on to get married, created a social environment that created others to find their best friends, employed hundreds of people over the years and have saved many lives. I created the life I wanted by surrounding myself with amazing people that wanted to change themselves for the better. I have literally trained tens of thousands of people over the years and I’ve learned something from ever single person that has stepped onto my mat. Some good some bad but each one has made me a better person in some way or another. Some had a significant impact on my life. I appreciate every person greatly, especially looking back. And through this trying time It’s amazing to see how some people reached out and supported me above and beyond and that I will never forget.

Now, my next chapter begins. I will build a smaller version of my Centereach school in my house in Middle Island. It will be a great place to train for those of you who still want to continue Jiu Jitsu or Total Body Shaping. I will have the same amenities as I did just at a smaller scale. New members will be referral only. I promise to make it beautiful and a great environment that will inspire you to want to be there. I will make it a place of family and culture while still keeping the values of the martial way and getting people in the best shape of their lives.

I thank everyone of you from the bottom of my heart that had allowed me to train you and your loved ones over the years.
