Hi softball friends, Happy new year! Below is the sign up information for softball. If you have any questions, reach out to cbslla and they will be happy to help.

With the snow all over the ground, it definitely seems that baseball and softball are a ways away, but they'll be here before we know it.

Baseball and Softball registration is officially open and will run through February 15th.

Sign up before January 15th to receive the early bird discount. We look forward to seeing you on the diamonds in the spring.

Dear softball community:
We have decided to merge our program with CBSLLA. This decision will allow for more growth for recreational softball, and volunteers to make it happen. We started this program with one goal, and that was to develop fundamentals and a love of softball. Throughout the years we have created memories for many girls and helped them grow into competitive softball players. It is time to pass the torch to a group of committed individuals who will see our vision through, and continue to grow the softball community here in Centerburg. We thank all of you for your support and memories made throughout the years, and look forward to seeing what the future holds. CBSLLA will now do sign ups, scheduling with the league and will receive all communication regarding recreational softball in the Centerburg community. You will want to follow their page (search CBSLLA) and also email [email protected] for any questions you may have. We know CBSLLA will hold our same values and mission as they move forward. It has truly been a pleasure being a part of the softball community.

Coaches if you missed the key/equipment turn in last night, I will be at the park tonight (Tuesday) at 6pm and Thursday at 6pm for cheer and can meet at the field. Comment or message what day you will be coming. It’s important we gather all equipment.

Today is the last day for Mount Vernon fall ball sign ups, Cardington and Fredricktown softball leagues will also welcome anyone who wants to sign up.
We are going to work hard in the off season to form new a leadership board, plan and be ready to move forward with spring season.

I will say this again, the future of this organization is now in the hands of parents/community members who want to take it over. We will hold a board meeting in the near future to seat new members and hit the ground running for future plans, but we need you!

Softball friends, it is time to hand over the reigns of our softball league to new leadership. Our President, Vice president, representative at large and Treasurer are all resigning. The future of this organization is now in your hands. We need dedicated parents to step up and volunteer for these positions. Message if you are interested and for more details of what the position entails.

The past few years have been lead by some talented, hard working, generous, compassionate individuals who never asked for recognition. They put so many countless hours and even their own money into the behind the scenes. The field, the concession stand revitalization, the new storage shed, the fundraising, equipment and uniforms, opening day celebrations, have all been because of them! They came together as a group and wanted to leave this organization better than they found it for this community of young ladies who want to love the game as much as they do.

Thank you from the community and all the girls who made memories on the field because of your hard work and commitment to the program. It will not be forgotten!

Join us for opening day- this is the same day as the baseball league, however it is immediately following their ceremony so families can attend both if siblings play baseball.
