Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! To Wolfie’s Place - owner Jody Wolf and American Legion Post #91 for an amazing donation of $10,000 to the Center Park Board! Board members: Chad Hoffman, Kevin Mosbruker, Joe Borneman, Kerrie Washburn and Dawn Hoffman were taken away by the generosity and are very appreciative. Jody Wolf asked if there were things we needed for our Summer Baseball Program and in all honestly, our program needs the donations from businesses to run effectively every summer. We have purchased a home run fence and are still working on other purchases. One more thing we would like to do is our fields are in rough shape, so we would like to possibly fill in the out field with dirt and plant all new grass so we can fill the holes in. Center has a beautiful baseball/softball diamonds/park, we have always heard other towns complement us on our facility. We have 3 fields, lots of trees that provide shade and a playground for the little kids to play on. The Center Park Board cannot do any of these things without the support of our local businesses! And Wolfie’s Place – owner Jody Wolf and American Legion Post #91 KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK with this donation! So, I encourage you to stop in and support Wolfie’s Place, they have drinks, food, BINGO on Tuesdays at 6:00 and Saturdays at 4:00, and throw some money in the machines. It is very important to keep our youth programs in Center, we have a very strong program this year, we have 55 kids in total for T-ball, Rookies and Majors. We also welcome back our coaches, Ashlee Hazen coaches T-ball, Dan Haag and JD Hanson coach the Rookies and Majors, and we have several great parents that step up and help during practice and games.
