2026 Volleyball Season : A Letter from Coach Williams
My Beautiful Lady Eagles,
Last night, our 2026 volleyball season officially came to an end. As I sit here reflecting on this journey, my heart is filled with so many emotions. There is sadness because our season is over, but there is also so much joy, pride, gratitude, and most importantly, LOVE.
First, I want each and every one of you to know how much I LOVE YOU! Not just because you are my volleyball players, but because each of you holds a special place in my heart. You have given me memories that I will cherish for a lifetime.
To my underclassmen, watching you grow this season has been nothing short of amazing. I watched you go from being unsure of yourselves to becoming more confident, determined, and fearless young ladies. You learned to trust yourselves, trust your teammates, and believe that you belong on that court. Your growth has made me so proud, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you.
To my seniors, what can I say? You stepped up, you led, you encouraged, and you helped set the foundation for what this program is becoming. You have left your fingerprints and footprints on this team in ways that go far beyond volleyball. Thank you for your leadership, your dedication, and for giving me the opportunity to coach you during this chapter of your lives. Although your high school volleyball journey has ended, you will forever be my Lady Eagles.
But ladies, do you know what made this season truly special to me?
It wasnβt the wins, the scores, or the games. It was watching you become SISTERS. β€οΈ
I watched a group of young ladies with different personalities, backgrounds, and experiences come together and build something beautiful. You laughed together, cried together, celebrated together, picked each other up, and learned how to genuinely LOVE one another.
That is something no scoreboard could ever measure.
You learned that being a team means more than wearing the same jersey. It means having each otherβs backs, holding one another accountable, showing grace, and standing together even when things donβt go as planned.
And as your coach, THAT IS MY GREATEST VICTORY!
I hope you understand that volleyball is only a small part of the lessons I want you to carry throughout your lives. I want you to be strong women, confident leaders, loyal friends, and people who never forget the importance of love, respect, and family.
Thank you for allowing me to push you, challenge you, fuss at you, laugh with you, and most importantly, LOVE YOU. Every early morning, every long practice, every bus ride, every victory, and every tough loss was worth it because I got to experience it with YOU.
As we close this chapter, remember that the season may have ended, but the sisterhood we built should never end.
To my seniors, go into the world and continue to soar.
To my returning Lady Eagles, take what we learned this season and come back stronger, wiser, hungrier, and ready to work.
And to ALL my girls, never forget that no matter where life takes you, you will always have a coach who loves you, believes in you, and will forever be cheering you on.
We started as teammates, grew into sisters, and finished as FAMILY.
Until next season, my beautiful Lady Eaglesβ¦
Keep your heads high, your hearts humble, and your wings ready to SOAR! π¦
