1) WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED: Hill Country Texas, 28 miles North West of san antonio, in the towns of Bandera, Comfort, Center Point, Helotes and Fredericksburg
2)WHAT IS THE COST: it is a flat fee of $650 for ANY 3 Animals ANY COMBO, That means you can stop three hearts. THIS IS FULL COST, THAT INCLUDES A $200 RESERVATION FEE. YOUR HUNT IS $450 THE RESERVATION fee
is for us to tell all other hunters that date is taken by you and your group, we lose their hunt if you show up or not. It also RESERVES YOUR SPOT so that when you get here the property is set aside for you for your time. the deposit for the bow site $350, $50 deposit and $300 day of hunt.
3)CAN WE SPLIT BAG LIMIT: NO, I WANT TO BE CLEAR, YOU CAN STOP THREE HEARTS, NATIVES HAVE TO BE TAKEN IN STRICT ADHERENCE TO STATE LAW, BUT EACH PAYING GUN CAN SHOOT ANY 3 LEGAL ANIMALS AT TIME OF THIER HUNT.
4)CAN WE BRING A NON PAYING GUEST: NO, NO EXCEPTIONS! YOU CHANGE OUR RULES THEN THE RULES HAVE BEEN CHANGED, IF YOUR HANDICAP AND NEED A HELPER, THEN YOU ARE LIMTED TO 1 HARVEST!

6) IS LODGING CLOSE BY: Yes local hotel is executive inn, they are 2 miles from our blind in comfort texas, if you say my name the charge is about 80 dollars a night. this is not a spot you take the wife on your wedding night, but an ok cabin for hunters! the racetrack will soon have accomodations for $85 a night.
7)DO YOU HAVE CALIBER RESTRICTIONS: NO
8)CAN I RIFLE HUNT ALL SITES: No , our pecan orchard site is bow only
9)DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS: NO, THERE IS NO REFUND! AND BE READY TO PAY FOR WHAT YOU RESERVED! Last minuet cancellations lose their deposit! we offer you a waiver, prior to your hunt starting, if there is anything you do not like after the walk around, do not sign waiver and pay for hunt, once you sign waiver only those skunked hunters with a good attitude qualify for a free re-hunt.
10) WHAT IS A RE HUNT: FIRSTLY: REHUNTS ARE PRIVILEDGES I OFFER TO MY HUNTERS, IT IS AT MY Discretion many factors can effect a hunt, resulting in a hunter getting skunked. if you come down here with a party of four and three get a axis and one doesn't. that hunter qualifies for a free re hunt as long as they play by our re hunt rules: namely a deposit is required to RESERVE the RE HUNT DATE and you party had not harvested more than one deer per person, there are several other conditions listed in waiver that must be followed. ALL REHUNTS EXPIRE SEPT 15 OF THAT YEAR.
11) WHAT IS WAIVER: legal binding contract between hunter and outfitter that must be signed before you are allowed to hunt, disclaimers like hold harmless agreement, and injury waivers are the norm.
12) WHEN DOES HUNT START: We hunt from 2pm one day to 2pm the next, the presumption is that you understand that exotics in this "urban country" styled hunt are nocturnal, so we are giving you the overnight to have a chance to get exotics. You must not arrive before 2pm day of your hunt and you must be packed out by 2pm the next day, unless your group has consecutive days reserved.
13) WHAT ABOUT A LICENSE: You must comply with all TPWF laws, any violation will result in an immediate banning of you and your group on all our sites. We do know that a non resident five day exotic license runs about 48 dollars, however when you have ANY question regarding harvest or license REFER TO THE GUIDEBOOK.
14)WHAT IF I WANT TO SPONSER A MINOR HUNTER: for us a minor is 14 years of age and under, you are welcome to accompany as the adult, however the hunter is limited to ONE ANIMAL, We prefer that each present person pays. This chaperon rule is applicable only if i deem it ok.

16)DO YOU HAVE BOW HUNTING: yes the pecan orchard is bow only. if you don't like the stand, bring a pop up
17)I'VE HEARD THIS IS A SCAM: We are not a scam, we have been in business for 8 years, we carry all appropriate TPWF license to lease properties for hunts, and have our reference page that shows 100's of axis harvested. Hunters like goggan, shanto, tucker, brummet and many many more have harvested great trophys. WE ARE NON TRADITIONAL HUNT THOUGH! Big Bubba is gonna tell you a trophy hunt is 1000 acres, a helicopter, jeep painted like a zebra, fill you with stories of family land and show off the ranch trophy room. I OFFER A MEAT HUNT: take away all the frivolous stuff! five acres, blind over feeder at the edge of town, hunting at night. It only makes sense that the competition is upset at us: high fence, trophy room and guides cost money. We have none of that, add to that they have to stock their pens, they can't compete. Remember the guy who shot a white tail and fined for a illegal shoot by the warden is mad at us, the guy who passed a hot check and got kicked, is mad at us, the person who left five p*e bottles in our blind and then didn't get a free re hunt is mad at us, the person who gutted a axis and left it in the field for us to remove is mad at us for banning him, the guy who logged on to my fb page and got a auto response is mad at us, tree huggers, vegans, animal rights activist and pen hunts are all mad at us, i have heard it all, negative comments are green eyed monsters!
18)IVE HEARD COMPLAINTS THAT YOU DON'T HONOR YOUR REHUNT: use common sense on that one, if we are so bad, why do they want to come back? The waiver clearly states many actions will cancel your re hunt: Attitude, littering, passing axis doe, stealing, removing sd cards from camera, lying, etc. We clearly state that re hunt is at my discretion and availability. Re hunts are not allowed to be scheduled as flash back re hunts, or group re hunts, shared, during weekends or prime time. Reservation of 250 is required for a re hunt, no exceptions.
19) WHAT IS YOUR SUCCES RATE: This is probably the worst question i get. I REFUSE TO LIE TO ANYONE, and this question is a question that sets me up, its a lose lose question. Please don't start that question off with "im just after meat, can't cook horns" (if i had a dollar for every time i've heard that...) Folks you never know what someone is going to pull in the blind, i had a gal tell me she could smoke in my blind because it was apple scented to***co. I had another guy shoot five times and say his scope lens had cracked after his first shot(but stated he was shooting all night at axis) I can tell you two things: axis walk past my blind all night 200 nights a year when the blind is empty, make it like it's empty when your there and you will get one. Second: if you don't get one and play by all bullet 18 rules you get a free re hunt, i can't get drunk delmer to be quite or wall eyed w***y to shoot straight, we don't tie them to a tree and they aren't fenced in, this is a real hunt, so be ready to take a snap shot in the dark.
20) WHAT DO I NEED TO SUPPLY: License, transportation, your own chair, your own red light, your own coolers, your own knives, trash bags to haul off the unusable parts of your kill, leaving gut piles from your kills on our property has the place smelling foul and will cost ALL MEMEBERS of your group a REHUNT.
21)WHAT IS YOUR AVAILABILITY: we are open year around for exotics. a reservation fee of 200 per hunt is required up front to reserve your spot, this is non refundable and non transferable.
22)THIS SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE: We are not a traditional hunt. This is a blue collar working man's meat hunt. Meaning our goal is for you to put meat in the freezer, make it home alive and not bankrupt! We cut all the fat, no jeep painted like a zebra, no helicopter, no vast amounts of land. 9 months of the year we are after exotics, so dusk till dawn hunting as urban country axis are nocturnal. We do not cook for you, clean for you, drive you around or get you a place to stay BECAUSE: the local hotel is 79 bucks a night, the local meat processor is 150 bucks per deer, the local grocery store will sell you your non resident 5 day hunting license for 48 bucks and finally all that is 2 miles from the blind! Sweat deal, meant to keep costs down. If you got screwed on a trophy hunt in the congo for 200k or a trip to Wyoming for 15k don't come here thinking your $650 is going to make up for that. Be realistic, have a good attitude and we will put some spots in front of you. If your hunting whitetail, just sit in the blind, they are like mice out here.

25)WHY DID YOU SEND ME PICTURES OF A SPOT WE ARE NOT HUNTING: Walk a mile in our boots hunters. We have 8 sites, some producing 3500 pictures every week. just think our process through. every Wednesday chuck pulls 8 sd cards, with close to 30,000 pictures. We have to filter out those pictures to 20 we can send out, to past, present and would be hunters. Even if that number is just 50, that means i have to send out 1000 photos. There is no way i can send you individual pictures of your site from july when you book, to nov 1 when your scheduled hunt begins, I can go on and on here. Picture hunting is silly, todays hotspot wont be tomorrows hotspot. animals move the camera, cameras fail, hunters steal cameras or muck with the date and time. So just because the week you come here to hunt and magically we got no pictures for your site, DOES NOT MEAN WE DID THAT DELIBERATE, DOES NOT MEAN THERE ARE NO ANIMALS THERE, it just means mechanical stuff fails. Our agreement is to reserve you a place to hunt, i have no obligation to send you pictures, i can't guarantee something i can't control. As we get closer to PRIME TIME, do not ask me for pictures as if that is what is holding up your participation in a reserved hunt, if you do this your hunt will be cancelled and your deposit forfeited. I will send mass collections of pictures or update the "BEST SHOTS" on my page, that's all i can do, don't ask me WHY WE HAVE POSTED NO PICS OF YOUR SITES FOR THREE WEEKS, it just sometimes works out that way. harvesting pictures is as difficult as growing crops, we do our best. I have many many pictures of axis, unfortunately i know they are axis the untrained eye does not, i won't post those night time pictures to my page so that folks start calling the warden claiming im saying this animal is that, when to the untrained eye it appears to be something else. this is a reason why i won't post a pic of a certain site, even if we got a bunch of axis there.
24)HOW DO I PICK A SITE: BY NAME!after the flood we are limited to the race track and the bow site, one is rifle and can handle 8 hunters, the other is bow only and can handle two hunters.
25)YOU DON"T ALLOW REVIEWS, SO DO YOU HAVE REFERNCES: Yes, i have a reference photo album on my page with over 100K worth of axis taken. Most with the names of hunters, get on my thread of 700,000 views, 20,000 likes, comments and shares. ask these guys about their hunts. I will not chase hunters hunt. I don't allow reviews for a myriad of reasons, some are tree huggers, trappers looking to leverage a trapping spot, competition posting on my thread or banned folks who violated our rules.
26)DO YOU HAVE CLEANING TABLES/AREA: We no longer allow cleaning and dumping onsite. Clean on back of your truck, bring trash bags and what you pack in you must pack out entirely. This keeps the site from smelling foul when U Get There!
27) Do you have caliber restrictions? bring what you shoot best in the dark if your after exotics.
