Edit: I was just informed by my youngest that I should introduce myself since that doesn't come through on your feed, lol. My name is Steve Pryor. Like you, we are a family of Toyota wheelers. With my wife, Andrea, and two sons, Justin and Johnathan, and their wives, Noria and Polly, we've been on the Rubicon for over a decade now, starting out as Wagon Run participants, then to leading said Run, to now this. We're looking forward to leading a team of very dedicated individuals to put on next year's Rubithon event. I recently heard someone describe their first time participating last year as a life-altering event. That's how we felt about our first time. We're looking forward to making new friends and meeting you next year at Rubithon!
Okay okay, I know it's only August, but who else is already getting excited for Rubithon 2027??!!! I'm super excited to step into this new role as Rubithon Chairman, and happy to announce that the dates for next year will be June 23-27, 2027.
I want to sincerely thank all of you that have reached out to me in various ways expressing your support and willingness to help. Rest assured that as things start coming together I will reach out to you for that!
In the mean time, take a look at the page's new cover photo - who remembers what year that was? Here's a hint - that's my wife and me on the far right in my sprung-under 60 on 33's 😂😂, and it was our first time on the trail! I was so lucky to run with some legends, in the pic, on that first trip through.
