From splash pad days to interactive trails and community events, this 11-acre park is made to bring people together. In 2012, Centennial opened its first City-owned park, Centennial Center Park. This 11-acre, award-winning Park is located adjacent to the Centennial Civic Center and continues to be a destination for visitors throughout the state.

Splash Pad Closure Notice 🚫💦

Due to a water quality incident, the Centennial Center Park Splash Pad is temporarily closed effective immediately, while staff complete required cleaning, flushing and treatment procedures to ensure the facility is safe for public use.

The splash pad is expected to remain closed for approximately 72 hours as crews drain and flush the system, refill the water supply and complete the necessary treatment and testing processes.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we take these important steps to protect the health and safety of our community.

We will provide an update once the splash pad is ready to reopen.

The splash pad at Centennial Center Park is open and the water is flowing!

Stop by daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Labor Day to cool off, play and enjoy some summer fun.

Splash Pad Update: The Centennial Center Park Splash Pad Temporarily Closed ⚠️💦

The splash pad at Centennial Center Park is temporarily closed while crews work to resolve a system malfunction.

We know this isn’t the holiday weekend news families were hoping for — especially with summer temperatures rolling in.

Our team is working on repairs to get the splash pad back up and running safely and as quickly as possible and we appreciate your patience in the meantime. Stay tuned for updates!

While the splash pad is closed, the rest of Centennial Center Park remains open, including playgrounds, trails, open space and other park amenities for the community to enjoy, visit centennialco.gov/centerpark for more details.

Splash Pad Update: The City of Centennial is proud of its splash pad—it’s a special place where families, friends and neighbors come together to cool off and have fun.

That’s why we’re committed to making sure the splash pad is safe, fun and built to last. Unfortunately, due to ongoing construction delays, the splash pad will remain closed for the rest of the summer.

We know many of you are eager to cool off at the Centennial Center Park Splash Pad—but due to construction delays, it’s not open just yet!

We’re working hard behind the scenes and will share an opening date as soon as it’s confirmed. In the meantime, all other areas of the park remain open, including the playgrounds, picnic spots, and trails—so come out and enjoy the sunshine!
