#6 Baked Potatoes at Duncan Youth Football.

Former DYF president Alicia Lada used to fix baked potatoes once a season, that you could load with all the fixings or pulled pork. 😋

Her husband Walter and I ALWAYS had one in the press box and they tasted so delicious, I naturally told the fans on the mic and we’d sell them out almost every time!

There's nothing like a "Football Friday Night" in small town Oklahoma!

Football games at Cyril are a stellar reminder of why I love announcing ballgames!!!

At this game in 2020 (during the middle of the Covid pandemic), the stands were practically filled with fans ready to cheer on their Pirates and the cheerleaders were in top form with their cheers and dance performances. It was a big night in Cyril, Oklahoma and it was definitely not disappointing!

I’m already pumped to announce for September 11th’s home opener against Fox!

And hopefully the upcoming season under head coach Bruce Harrell will lead the Pirates to a state football championship! 🎤 🏴‍☠️

The "Hardest Game" I've ever announced in my career, was at a District Basketball Tournament.

The Cyril Lady Pirates obliterated the Paoli Lady Pugs 83-8

Paoli didn't even score until the second period and didn’t score again until late in the THIRD period!

Although I was happy Cyril won, I was even more happy when that nightmare game was over!!!

It’s been a privilege to announce at Canute twice for volleyball games this fall! I’m looking forward to going back again twice in September. Pictured with me are Trojanette seniors, Paige Ashmore & Nekota Crum.
