PHOTOS PART ONE:

CCU completed their first Track and Field season at the National Christian College Athletic Association National Championships. Vying for All-American honors, CCU athletes competed in numerous track and field events at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana.
Several athletes on both the men's and women's teams medaled and the men's 4x800 relay team broke their own school record they set earlier in the season.
The men's team finished in 6th place while the women's team finished in 8th place.
Definitely an exciting and memorable season for CCU!

PHOTOS PART TWO:

CCU completed their first Track and Field season at the National Christian College Athletic Association National Championships. Vying for All-American honors, CCU athletes competed in numerous track and field events at Grace College in Winona Lake, IN.

CCU Track and Field athletes competed for the first time at the RSC Championships in Eaton, Ohio.

Several teams and individuals qualified for finals tomorrow and both the Men and Women's teams were ranked in 3rd place after day 1.

Jozalyn Albright was the Women's Long Jump champion and Deborah Rubin captured the Women's Hammer Throw title.

On Day 2 of the RSC Track and Field Championships, the Eagles brought home event titles and finished as Conference Runners-Up by ONE point to Point Park University.

Kelvin Campbell won the Men's Triple Jump, Vincent Pennington finished first in the Men's 110 Hurdles and John Green captured the title in the Men's 100 and 200 meter race.
Campbell was also awarded the Champion of Character Award for CCU. John Green was chosen RSC Newcomer of the Year and Adam Cokonaugher was selected Coach of the Year.

The Women's team finished third in the Conference with Lisa Ruffin capturing the Women's High Jump and Triple Jump titles, and Deborah Rubin was awarded the Champion of Character Award for CCU.

Athletes prepare next for Nationals in Indiana where they will compete in the NCCAA Championship at Grace College in Winona Lake May 10-12.

Both men and women's teams brought qualifying athletes to the UC Nikoloff Invitational. The men's team finished 7th in a field of 16 teams. CCU represented in sprints, mid-distance, jumps, throws and hurdles in perfect track weather at Coy Field and Gettler Stadium. Personal records were set by CCU athletes as the Eagles continue their preparation for the Conference meet later this month.

CCU competed in its first Outdoor Track and Field meet at Miami University in the 2019 Blizzard Buster Invitational.
Temperatures hovered around 32 degrees upon the Eagles' arrival at the George L. Rider track under sunny skies.
Both Men's and Women's teams turned in hard fought performances and personal records that now serve as the foundation for the University's Track and Field program!
Next up, the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open at Cedarville University.
