Yes I am taking over as the Head Coach for the Lawrence program this year
We have a young growing team this year our goal is to get them to compete competitive every time they step in the mat,

We are in D2 this year due to school population so that’s the small school conference , facing against teams like Oyster Bay, Locust valley island trees, etc

We have three Home matches this year
As follows
December 6th against Valley Stream South (NL)
December 19th Against Evergreen Charter (League)
January 17th against Island Trees (League)

I say a good alumni day would be either Dec 19 or Jan 17

An update from Lawrence wrestling coach Keith McDermott
I know it has been a while, but Lawrence Wrestling season has been busy and in full swing. The past month we have wrestled dual meets against Roslyn, Roosevelt, and at Long Beach for the Battle at the Beach tournament. We have not won the dual meets as a team because of our small time and not covering all the weight classes but we have won the head to head matchups. At the Battle at the Beach tournament, (285) Celvin Fuentes placed 2nd in the JV tournament and (189) Yasser Jimenez placed 2nd in the varsity tournament. Today we are participating in the Sprig Gardner tournament at Bellmore JFK, tomorrow's wrestling will be on a live feed (link below). Attached is our upcoming schedule. I am going to maintain a monthly update to keep alumni involved. For all home matches, we have no restrictions for who can attend, just need to wear a mask. December 15th we wrestle Wantagh to start our league schedule.

Wantagh vs. Lawrence wrestling. Wednesday 12/15 5:00 at Lawrence. Wantagh should be one of the better teams in the state this year. Don't know if Lawrence could even compete with them but it's a league match. Will update as we get closer. The variable this year is Covid. Don't know what's going to happen.
