The outgoing half of this love story. I’m Sugar’s emotional support, tennis-ball enthusiast, and adventure buddy. I love long walks, swimming (I blow bubbles underwater!), couch cuddles, and humans of all kinds. Medium energy with expert-level snuggling skills.

🙀🚨Adopters and foster families for cats urgently needed! 🚨🙀
Last Friday alone, 121 cats arrived across our shelters in need of care, including 47 from a single home. With our lodging space far beyond capacity, many spent the night in crates inside the conference room at our Milwaukee Campus.
WHS will never turn away an animal in need, and we do not euthanize animals for reasons of time or space, which is why we rely so heavily on the kindness and generosity of the communities we serve.
Here are the ways you can help:

Ripley has been in foster care for a year; even celebrated his 1st bday with his foster family. He would love to find his family. Very deserving boy looking to give all the love to.

This handsome 1-year-old Lab mix is 62 lbs of brains, beauty, and boundless love! 💛 Ripley is smart, treat-motivated, and already working on his “heel.” He’s potty trained, sleeps through the night, and does great in his kennel. Ripley has so much love to give he even has a heart in the middle of his forehead!

🐶 Super social! Ripley loves other dogs (he even helped raise four foster puppies!) and thrives at doggy daycare. I do think he would love to be the only dog to get all the love and attention though.
👋 When meeting new people, Ripley gets very excited—he just can’t help himself! 🥹 He may jump or bark a bit at first, but he settles quickly with a little patience and guidance. Once he relaxes, he’s all about the cuddles and companionship.
