MISSION STATEMENT-The Cedar Springs Youth Football League is a recreational program intended for the benefit of children, conducted by a group of interested, volunteer adults. Intentions are to implant firmly the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyality, courage, and respect for authority, so they may become well-adjusted, healthy, and self-motivated students of the community. The athletes

of Cedar Springs Youth Football are held to a standard above and beyond the highest principles set forth by their peers, and are prepared to compete at a level where winning is accepted, and encouraged, but never at the expense of another teammate or opponent. We will continue to develop these athletes, and hold our adult volunteers to the same standards that we teach to our youth athletes.

Cedar Springs Red Hawks and Greenville Yellow Jackets 6th graders put on an absolute battle last night. Every snap, every tackle, every cheer showed pride, heart, and sportsmanship. The Red Hawks came away with the win, yet the greatest victory was the growth, teamwork, and lessons learned out there on that field.

One team. Together. Playing for each other.

Tomorrow, October 25, is the day! 🏈🔥

Our 6th graders are coming together as one united front as they take on a strong Greenville football team! This special 6th grade game is an awesome chance for our players to get a real feel for what middle school football is all about — coached by our middle school staff and showing off the talented Red Hawks who will be flying into 7th grade next year!❤️🖤

📣 Pre-game festivities kick off at 5:00 PM
🏈 Game time: 6:00 PM
📍 Legacy Field – Greenville

Let’s pack the stands, bring the noise, and cheer on our future Red Hawks as they play their last game in the CSYFL.

Good Morning CSYFL Families, we want to apologize for the last minute announcement. We are going to end practices early tonight at around 7:15 and get all the players in the stands to enjoy some pizza on us! Hillcrest Community Church of God will still be doing hotdogs tonight as well, so lots of food options! We also would like to take one big group photo of all our players so please bring their game jerseys with them!
