Little Sports Torts

With a passion to stay in the recreation field and a desire to own my own business, I started Eichhorn Recreation, LLC in January of 2013.

I had been director in Belle Plaine and then in Sauk Prairie, WI for a total of 8 years before moving to Cedar Rapids without a new position in the field. Initially I offered Quick-Fit, speed training, for Junior High and High School students for Belle Plaine and Regis & LaSalle Middle School. I found my niche in offering preschool programs for daycares in the area. We currently partner with over

30 preschools and daycares and offer programs year round. Our goal is to save nights and weekends for family time while giving children an exceptional experience with sports. Our model allows everyone a chance to win including the daycares and preschools who are able to offer a unique opportunity that not every location can accommodate.

With a passion to stay in the recreation field and a desire to own his own business, Jed Eichhorn started Eichhorn Recreation, LLC in January of 2013. He had been director in Belle Plaine and then in Sauk Prairie, WI for a total of 8 years before moving to Cedar Rapids without a new position in the field. Initial offerings included Quick-Fit, speed training, for Junior High and High School students for Belle Plaine and Regis & LaSalle Middle School and adult sand volleyball leagues. Jed found his niche in offering preschool programs for daycares and preschools in the area. We currently partner with over 40 preschools in Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Marion, North Liberty, Iowa City, Cedar Falls and few other small towns in between. Programs are now offered year round at many of these locations! Our goal has always been to provide an exceptional first experience with sport and to save nights and weekends for family time. Our model allows everyone a chance to win including the daycares and preschools who are able to offer a unique opportunity that not every location can accommodate.

Our Little Sports Torts have been a huge success in the first year of our new brand! They are bringing kids out of their shells one by one!
