After more than 15 incredible years of player development, community, and shared memories, the TNT5/Iowa Prep Basketball era is coming to a close. As of today, the organization will officially and permanently close its doors.
This decision was not made lightly—it is deeply personal and comes as life circumstances within the Schuring family have shifted. Since founding the program in 2008, our goal has always been to provide a developmental basketball experience rooted in hard work, high standards, and genuine relationships. TNT5 was never just about basketball—it was about building character, confidence, and community. To each of you—thank you. Your trust in us, your support from the stands, your willingness to travel, adjust schedules, and invest in your child’s growth have all played an essential role in making this organization what it became. Your belief in our mission gave us purpose every single day.
