What a start to the season and a first for our door to door racing career. We blew an engine in practice last week and thanks to Jeremy Cassill we where able to get an engine in this car and make tonight. Tonight in our heat race we started dead last and had a lot of momentum taking that green. Made a pass for the lead in a lap and a half and cruised to our first ever heat race win!!! In the feature for some reason we started 7th and went to a very scary 4 wide in turn 3 on lap one to take 3rd place where we ran down the leaders and applied as much pressure as we could but just couldn't find a way around even though we had the speed and we would finish 3rd and we dropped the fastest time of the day! Cooling fan quit on us so we had to make some unfortunate modifications to our brand new front bumper for air flow but we got threw it. We will get it fixed up and be back Friday night where we hope we can keep the momentum.
