I just wanted to share this about the coach.

I don't know the head coach of this team, but I've watched him for years. And I remember when he started that Prep school here in Iowa a few years back. This man has a heart of Gold and a very misunderstood man who just wants to see people succeed. He's helped quite a few people I know kids get in college or professional opportunities and I got mad respect for this man. I feel bad for him because, all he wants to do is bring some entertainment to the city and get the city a positive name. (Not saying it doesn't have one now). This man is all about growth and I hen I googled him and seen what u had accomplished. He is a true one and I know he would of helped a lot of these guys on that team get opportunities at the next level. This is sad and the city could of been sed something like this to bring some good entertainment to CR. I wish him the best, he should be coaching one of the HS or an asst coach at one of the colleges in Iowa. He's a great guy who wants to help others.

After being on the phone speaking with private owners of the Cedar Rapids Roadrunners ABA professional basketball team that should be starting their Inaugural season this year. Unfortunately, due to unreconcilable differences from a business standpoint it is in the best interest for the Roadrunners to Forfeit/Cancel their season before it got started due to some very serious personal stuff that has taken place within the organization. We just got off the phone with league office informing us that the Roadrunners first game against the Colorado Rise is forfeited this upcoming weekend. So your Roadrunners are 2-0 to start the season. Next up for the Roadrunners is the Chicago Fury in Chicago, the Fury is ranked in the Top 20 in the ABA. Roadrunners will be battle tested for sure Fury is one of the better teams in the league. Back to the lab to prepared for the next one...

The Roadrunners would like to thank Mrs. Molly Lamb-Hughes, for inviting us over to Roosevelt MS to talk to the 7th & 8th grade basketball team about the game importance of staying on top of their academics. The energy this weekend in practice was amazing. I truly loved working with the young men and watching them go at each other this weekend. Progress is being made and guys are getting better and getting a better understanding of what is being asked of them. Once we get that defensive side on point we just might shake up some things in the ABA. Back to lab to get better, love these young men. Great day to be a Roadrunner...

Just was informed of all the teams that will be in this new league in Mexico. I'm so happy and grateful that the owners of this league reached out to me to be a part of helping guys get opportunities to continue to chase their dreams. Working on dates to put together a training camp for guys to showcase their skills to land a job overseas ..

I just got off a zoom call with my guy in Mexico. He is starting a new league and he wants to partner with the Roadrunners as a funnel system to help guys get jobs to n Mexico. I love how God is using me as a vessel to help those individuals that are truly looking for an opportunity to continue to chase their basketball dream. We are looking into hosting a camp in the states to get guys opportunities.

What a great time at the Hoops vs Heroes Trunk or Treat Basketball Event today at the NW Rec Center. I can't be more happy for these young men. Their first game against someone else besides each other. The Roadrunners took to the hardwood today in an exhibition game against Cedar Rapids and Marions finest police department.
