The 2025 National Games 16U team concluded their week-long event by generously donating a substantial amount of leftover food and items to the Costa Mesa Bridge Shelter on Tuesday morning, prior to their departure. Notably, Mason and Xylina, the last two players, departed alongside Coach Tasha, Referee Shawn, and parent Jenn. We commend this team and their coaches for their outstanding dedication, compassion, and generosity, which truly exemplify commendable values. Kudos to Cedar Rapids AYSO for enabling this talented group of players to participate in the AYSO National Games, thereby representing their Region with distinction. This achievement further solidifies Region 1112's recent consecutive wins as Sportsmanship winners at AYSO National Games.
