ANNOUNCEMENT!!

We're thrilled to announce that Carlie Goddard and Alexis Barden will be coaching our Power 9U team. They've previously led our 13U team to outstanding achievements, including a 12U state championship, showcasing their exceptional coaching skills.

Alexis, a Prairie graduate, excelled as a dominant batter in her junior and senior years before playing at Kirkwood. Carlie, also a Prairie alum, was an outstanding outfielder and went on to play at Mount Mercy.

Both coaches bring extensive softball knowledge and, more importantly, a genuine ability to connect with players, inspiring them to become excellent athletes and teammates. We’re excited for the upcoming season with their leadership!

🧡 Power Softball Season Recap 🖤

What an incredible season it has been for our Power Softball teams! Both our 8U and 13U teams demonstrated exceptional grit, skill, and teamwork throughout the season, culminating in an unforgettable State weekend.

13U Team Highlights:
Tied for 7th place in the 13o gold bracket out of 26 teams. This was their fourth run at the state tournament, with two prior state championships in their 10u and 12u seasons.

8U Team Highlights:
Placed 6th in the gold bracket out of 36 teams. This was the first state tournament for these girls and played their best ball of the season, showcasing tremendous potential and resilience.

We are incredibly proud of all our players for their dedication and hard work and we would like to give a heartfelt thank you to our amazing group of parents and families for their unwavering support.

Make sure you’re very courageous: be strong, be extremely kind, and above all be humble." -Serena Williams. 13u Power have been together for years and have a bond that is far more valuable than a tournament win or on field success. This camaraderie was evident as they competed fiercely against excellent competition and they continue to be incredible teammates to one another. We look forward to watching our 8u girls grow and develop these same bonds in seasons to come!

We are already looking forward to fall ball and more exciting adventures ahead. Thanks again to all our players, their families, and our fantastic coaches for making this season memorable.
