Introducing this season's Texas Children's Hospital Austin Honorary Linemate: Jaiden! Jaiden's story began before birth. He was diagnosed with lower urinary tract obstruction, born 14 weeks premature, and began his life in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Later on, he was diagnosed with a condition called Prune Belly Syndrome, leading to the loss of one kidney, and failure of the other. He entered end-stage renal disease before his 11th birthday.
Jaiden started dialysis with the Texas Children's Hospital Austin team and received his new kidney on April 29, 2026! Over the next 4 episodes, you'll see Jaiden attending practice, a game, and talking about his favorite game: Mario Kart!
