Meet Brandy 🩵
“I didn’t expect a gym to change my mental health but Burn Boot Camp did.
When my four-week trial ended, I felt it immediately. It wasn’t just FOMO. It was a real sense of loss. I missed the feeling of belonging, of being seen, of being encouraged in a way I hadn’t experienced before. Talking to my husband made it clear, this was something I needed. So I joined.
And everything started to shift.
I see myself differently now. I walk out of workouts feeling accomplished and proud, reminded that I can do hard things. Exercise no longer feels like a chore. It’s something I get to do, even on the days I don’t love it.
The biggest change, though, has been in my mind. The way I talk to myself is kinder. Stronger. I’ve struggled with anxiety and depression, and while I’m still on medication, I’ve been able to lower my dosage. Showing up for myself at Burn has improved my mood in ways I didn’t think were possible.
But what makes Burn truly different is the people.
The friendships I’ve built are unlike anything else. These are people who have seen me at my lowest and my strongest. There’s a bond there that’s hard to explain, unless you’ve experienced it. You walk in next to strangers and leave genuinely caring about them, cheering for them, wanting the best for them.
In my late 40s, that kind of connection is a gift.
Burn didn’t just change my workouts—it changed how I see myself, how I speak to myself, and how I show up for my life.”
