Next up, these two young ladies each had a booming inside the park home runs over the weekend! Peyton Wynn had hers on Saturday against the Elmhurst Emeralds an Ava Creech had hers on a go ahead two run inside the Parker against Southside Smoke!

A little bit of a back story in our program in regard to Memorial Day and our uniform design. When this program was created back in 2017, after some long and extensive thoughts on what color and uniform I wanted to do, it was decided to do Red, White and Blue. This was to give thanks to all our men and women who fought for our country, which today is to remember all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom that we enjoy today. So not only today, but every day, we remember those that died for our freedom, and give thanks to all military and their families. Wishing everyone a safe Memorial Day. Land of the free, Because of the brave!

Decided to cancel practice and have the girls go help coach a Savage player’s sister 10u team yesterday. 8 of 11 girls were able to attend and partake in this experience! From what I was told, the littles really enjoyed our Savages girls helping them out just as much as Savages girls helping out the littles! Little things that goes a long way, and certainly hope the littles learned just as much as the Savages learned from the 10u Highlighters! Great job and very proud of all ladies! Oh did I mention the 10u won 10-5? 😂
