Let’s Talk Parks-Your Voice Shapes the Future of Lake County Parks!

Lake County Parks is kicking off our community outreach project designed to gather valuable feedback! We want to hear from residents and visitors like YOU as we plan for the future of our incredible parks.

This exciting initiative is partially funded by the generous Legacy Foundation Transform Lake County grant, and we're so grateful for their support! This grant will enable us to reach thousands more residents and visitors, ensuring everyone has a say.

Over the next few months, you'll spot our park staff or survey stations throughout Lake County, ready to for your thoughts and ideas!
Here's how you can share your voice:

• Community Conversations (Dates/Times TBD): Join us for dedicated discussions where you can engage directly with our team. Keep an eye on our website and social media for upcoming dates and locations!

• Park Pop-Ups: Can't make a formal conversation? No problem! We'll be "popping up" at various park sites and other locations across Lake County. Look for our survey stations or friendly staff to take the survey.

• Take Our Survey! The easiest way to share your feedback is by completing our online survey. Click the link below to our website

Driving Range will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, March 16 from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Tentatively, we will also be open Thursday, March 17 from 10 AM to 5 PM. Beyond that, preseason days and hours will be based on weather and staff and posted as much in advance as we're able. Thanks for your patience, come enjoy the sunshine tomorrow!

Good news! We’ve been reviewing our procedures and we feel we’re in a good place to safely reopen. The only way for this to work is for all of us to commit to safe play together, so please read through everything before coming out:

✅ Course and Driving Range will open Monday, April 27 from 10-6.
🏌️ A limited number will be allowed on the course at a time. Call us at 219-365-2902 starting Monday to set up a tee time.
🧍🏻The shop will be closed excepting restroom use. You’ll pay through the window on the east side of the building.
↔️ Social distancing of at least 6ft must be maintained at all times.
⛳️ Flag poles are to remain in the cup at all times to minimize contact.
❌ No lingering following your round.

We also strongly encourage anyone who does come inside to wear a mask if they have one. Golfing, and especially cart use, is strongly discouraged with people outside of your household or people you aren’t already in regular contact with.

Thanks for helping us keep one another safe, and in turn keep the course open! Mini golf is closed at this time, but we will update if that changes. Any questions, just let us know!
