I guess we can call this… the calm before the storm.
The bike is ready. The gear is packed. The desert is waiting.
And for the next few hours, I’m still standing on familiar ground.
That won’t last long.
For the next four days, comfort is officially off the table.
I’ve signed up for a four-day off-road motorcycle trip from Zion to Bryce Canyon — rugged terrain, steep climbs, loose rock, and plenty of opportunities to question what the hell I signed up for.
At 62, I’ll probably be the oldest guy in the group.
That’s fine.
I’m here to put my money where my mouth is — step into the unknown and test the Age Stronger Training Program in the real world.
Because getting older isn’t what scares me.
It’s letting the old man enter my head space.
The voice that says you’re too old.
Too tired.
Too weak.
That you’ve done enough.
F🍺ck that.
The only way to keep that old man out - is to continually push your self out of that good for nothin comfort zone.
Do the s**t that scares you.
Stay uncomfortable.
Take the hard road.
Test yourself.
Because the moment you start living inside your comfort zone, the old man starts moving in.
And I’m not giving him the keys.
Tomorrow, the engines fire up.
The storm is coming.
I’ll keep you posted.
